Same-Sex Couples Tie The Knot In California

Same-sex couples tie the knot in California. Exchanging of vows come one month after the State's highest court overturned a ban on same-sex marriage in a historic ruling.

One of the first couples to get married on Monday were Robin Taylor and Diane Olson who were the first plaintiffs in the lawsuit that led to the California Supreme Court overturning the ban last month. Taylor and Olsen have been together for 15 years and said their vows on the steps of the Beverly Hills County Courthouse in a ceremony attended by dignitaries, including Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
