Madonna took a nasty swipe at the presumptive Republican nominee for US President, John McCain, Saturday when she kicked off her international "Sticky and Sweet" concert tour. During her performance of "Get Stupid," an image of McCain is shown alongside those of Adolf Hitler and Robert Mugabe.
Campaign officials for U.S. Senator and Republican presidential candidate John McCain have shot back at Madonna for that segment of her just-launched new concert tour.
"The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable, and crudely divisive all at the same time. It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits,"said Tucker Bounds, a McCain Campaign spokesman.
This is Madonna's way of getting back at the McCain Campaign ad labeling Barack Obama a "Celeb." Paris Hilton poked fun in return with her tongue-in-cheek internet video. Madonna's counter-attack is without humor; it's just mean.
